I will be eternally thankful for the circumstances that brought me to the Derbyshire Dales and having lived here for most of my adult life I could never consider living anywhere else. Most of the landscapes are inspired by locations within ten miles of my home near Wirksworth. The rolling hills constantly transform with the seasons and weather conditions thus offering endless inspiration. Pattern, line, texture and colour are equally important elements to me. This process allows me a quality of surface that I couldn’t achieve with traditional glazes alone.
